Roads in Namibia are a combination of tarmac roads and dirt/gravel roads where dust levels can be higher than in other parts of the world. The Namibian government implements a road maintenance program but their condition can vary and sometimes journeys can feel less than smooth and rougher than on the tarmac roads.
